Organization, iLab // Haiti has introduced the first two 3D printers to the country of Haiti. This is remarkable use of technology for humanitarian aid and development. It does seem strange to give this bleeding edge technology that is not yet mainstream to resource poor citizens of Haiti but makes perfect sense when you realize that this might afford them some sort of self reliance by removing some barriers.
